Omega Speedmaster collection, is considered the best witness of the brand’s vanguard spirit. The original Omega Seamaster CK 2998 watch was released in 1959 and it has become one of the world’s most popular antique Speedmaster watches. With Alpha (knife) hands, a symmetry case and a dark bezel, the watch has always been sought after by watch enthusiasts. In addition, this watch has a special reputation as “the first Omega space watch.” In 1962, when astronaut Walter Schirra boarded the Sigma 7 spacecraft to perform a Mercury mission, this watch was worn by the astronaut.

Today, Omega is inspired by this classic model to introduce the new Speedmaster CK 2998 limited edition watch. The new watch retains a lot of iconic elements, and there are subtle changes in the design. The stainless steel case is polished and brushed, matching with the micro-sandblasting silver dial very well. Luminous fluorescent material is applied on the hour and minute hands. The sub dial indicator is rhodium plated and sandblasted. The central chronograph second hand is decorated with red paint.

Silver dial with three black sub-dials and track-style minute circle, black polished ceramic dial decorated white enamel pulse scale, such a clear contrast is easy to identify. Equipped with the Calibre 1861 movement, this movement is rooted in the history of the “Moon Watch”, from which you can see the continuation and inheritance of the brand. Each watch has its own number on the watch back, embossed seahorse badge, and engraved with “SPEEDMASTER”. Omega’s new Speedmaster CK 2998 watch with black leather strap (white rubber lining), only 2,998 of these limited moonwatch have been created.
